What makes the world go round? The collective MONTAЖ$TROJ and Zagreb Youth Theater invite you to a panel discussion on debt. With the creation of a legal framework for improving the economic situation of debtors who took out loans in Swiss francs, daily political rhetoric shifted its focus to public debt. The panel discussion “Debt Makes the World Go Round!” will open up space for discussion on our individual and collective debts, the consequences of indebtedness on the citizens’ fates and the perspective for our society’s progress.
The speakers are: Sandra Benčić – Centre for Peace Studies, Davor Huić – Executive Director of the Lipa Taxpayer Association, Goran Jeras – Manager of the Cooperative for Ethical Financing and Petra Rodik – Associate Professor at the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. The discussion will be moderated by journalist Ivana Dragičević.
The collective MONTAЖ$TROJ and Zagreb Youth Theatre invite you to participate in the panel discussion that will be held in the Miško Polanec hall at Zagreb Youth Theatre on February 11, 2016 at 6.30 pm. The panel discussion “Debt Makes the World Go Round!” is part of the process leading up to the performance THE BLACK BOOK by director Borut Šeparović, coproduced by Zagreb Youth Theatre and MONTAЖ$TROJ. The performance THE BLACK BOOK will have its opening night on February 11, 2016.
