ACHTUNG ALARM! was an attempt at raising awareness about the risk from societal changes. ACHTUNG ALARM! was a warning bell for upcoming desasters. As an announcement of its first full-length performance VATROTEHNA, the members of MONTAЖ$TROJ performed a unique artistic action ACHTUNG ALARM! in 1990. It was a one-hour ride in a fire truck through the city center, during which MONTAЖ$TROJ’s members gave pointers to citizens in megaphone explosions on how to behave in situations of danger. Going out into the streets and agitating in this prewar period foreshadowed the upcoming social changes. The audience in Zagreb was also introduced in a noisy manner to an upcoming cultural phenomenon: MONTAЖ$TROJ.
