EUROBODY

A hanging basketball board. Naked men dunk the ball through the hoop. Playing one on one. Hanging from the hoop. Jumping on and knocking each other down. Chests colliding. Forgetting the basketball. Hitting each other. The hits given and received are real.

EUROBODY was made during the world tour of the project EVERYBODY GOES TO DISCO FROM MOSCOW TO SAN FRANCISCO. It is the third, synthetic and final version of the project EVERYBODY GOES TO DISCO FROM MOSCOW TO SAN FRANCISCO created on the foundations of earlier versions. During their many performances, the performers’ relationship toward the material changed, which finally resulted in a different performance concept. Three performers explore the relationship toward their own past performances opening room for changes. The performance still consists of high-risk movement, erotic games and violence. The play premiered in Atlanta during the U.S. tour. EUROBODY was also the final artistic activity made as a derivative or variation of the EVERYBODY GOES TO DISCO FROM MOSCOW TO SAN FRANCISCO project.
