SWASTIKA

This is not Plastics. This is SWASTIKA. This is not rock’n’roll bend Idols. This is MONTAЖ$TROJ. This is not 1981. This is not Yugoslavia. This is 2014. This is Croatia. The Choir of Little People has had enough of fascism! Death to fascism, freedom to the people!

The Independent State of Croatia was established on April 10th in 1941. In 2014 on this exact date MONTAЖ$TROJ made a public presentation of the music video SWASTIKA dedicated to problems of the fascism in society, intolerance, and hate towards minorities. The protagonists assembled in the Choir of Little People represent the minority groups of our society. They are old people, dykes, workers, Serbians, women, blacks…

Cover of the new wave hit “Plastics” originally performed in 1981 by rock’n’roll band Idols is a part of MONTAЖ$TROJ’s artistic experiment which deals with the question – can pop music become the instrument of social change. The Choir of Little People says: We’ve had enough of hatred and fascism!
