Precisely 20 years later, members of MONTAЖ$TROJA are climbing a fire truck again and going off onto a one-hour MONTAЖ$TROJ agitation ride through Zagreb’s city center. The original route was changed due to the devastation and commercialization of public space in the capital’s center.
Two generations of performers participated in the renewal of the 1990 action: the original ensemble of MONTAЖ$TROJ from the 1990s and a new line-up gathered for the play GENERATION 91-95. Dating the performance on September 11 was a symbolic marking of an event that irreversibly changed the course of our history. A megaphone explosion again directed the citizens how to correctly behave in case of danger. ACHTUNG ALARM! 2.0 was a repeated attempt to raise awareness about risk as an unexpected and unforeseen change, to which the modern society is exposed daily. ACHTUNG ALARM! 2.0 was another attempt to warn of the up-coming disasters. ACHTUNG ALARM! 2.0 is one of the three announcing actions of FIRE-TECHNICS 2.0, the reconstruction and deconstruction of MONTAЖ$TROJ’s first full-time play.
