Five day program dedicated to MONTAЖ$TROJ’s 25th birthday culminated on the very date this art collective was founded. December 22, 2014 MONTAЖ$TROJ organized an unconventional gathering open for public.
The theme of the discussion was the potential of a revolutionary change of the society in which we live. The lead speakers on the WHERE’S THE REVOLUTION, SCUM? gathering were Dean Duda – a professor of literature, Ivan Ergić – former football player and independent social commentator, Marina Ivandić – activist and BRID member and Tomislav Klauški – journalist. The host was Borut Šeparović, the founder of MONTAЖ$TROJ. The gathering was moderated by a publicist Boris Postnikov.
Are we speaking about the revolution or at least about the society in which the question of the revolution is being raised again if nowhere else than on the wall. We are interested in finding out whose revolution is it? Who is supposed to lead? And where? Against who – or what – this revolution? Where are we looking for it, where we could never find it? Who is making fun of the revolution, who inspires it? Who is afraid? Who is the scum, who thinks he is not?
MONTAЖ$TROJ is asking: WHERE’S THE REVOLUTION, SCUM?
